Dear Resident,

I would like to personally thank those of you who participated in Dolton’s Hurricane Relief Drive for the people of Haiti. Through your efforts Dolton was able to donate a fifty- three foot trailer equipped with water, non-perishable items and clothing. In addition, our business community donated nearly eight thousand dollars.

I’d also like to thank Bishop Larry Trotter, Presiding Bishop of the United Pentecostal Churches of Christ International, for his participation in the endeavor. Bishop Trotter’s willingness to combine forces with our Village further added to the success of the drive.

These emergency supplies and funding will assist the people of Haiti who have suffered without water, clothing and medical supplies. Your donations will make an impact as Haiti attempts to resurrect their country.

Once again I want to thank every resident and business person that assisted in this effort.

Sincerely,
William Shaw, Mayor
