Dolton Waterfall
Lincoln & Park Avenue

The Dolton Waterfall, built in 2000, has become one of the prides of Dolton. Located on the Village Hall campus, the Waterfall attracts thousands of people each year for Weddings, Family Pictures, and as a place to just lounge. You might even catch someone cooling their feet off during the summertime. And Cascade of Jazz is the main attraction at the Waterfall during the summer, with live bands and the smell of barbeque mingling with the peaceful tranquility of the water.

Original Berger-Vandenberg School
Lincoln Avenue

As you’re driving along Lincoln Avenue , and you go around the bend near Irving …you just might miss the original Berger-Vandenberg School . It’s a little white house on the Northside of the street. This was the first District 149 school in Dolton...and was a one room cabin built in 1854.

Lincoln Elementary School
142 nd & Lincoln Avenue

If you drive past the Lincoln Elementary School, you may not think it has any historical value. Afterall, the building is brand-new, and equipped with state-of-the-art technology for learning. But, if you notice the front façade of the school, that sits near the street, this is the original front entrance of the Lincoln School.

The Dolton Village Hall reminds you of an old-school municipal center. Dating back to late 19 th century, it sits on one of the most scenic spots in the Village. The Dolton Municipal Building originally was the Park Avenue School

142 nd Street

Driving up and down 142 nd Street will give you a nice view of the golf range, Needles Park and beautiful trees lining the northside of the street.

Dorchester Backyard

The Dorchester Backyard provide a beautifully serene escape for the Dorchester Residents and guests. With a garden in full bloom from Spring to Fall, a Water Fountain, Gazeebo, Patio and Vegetable Garden, this backyard is truly a place of trainquility.

The Islands

Adding beauty to the streets of Dolton are the Islands, installed on 147 th & Avalon, and 148 th & Kimbark. The islands also provide a safer intersection in these spots.
